The Frazier Barn

JOB DESCRIPTION: This barn renovation project for a repeat customer included taking an old bank barn and renovating it for use as a new horse barn with a modern tack room. We used natural quarry limestone, built new barn style doors, and dug out the existing ground to pour new concrete floors. We reused reclaimed wood from the barn and reinforced the existing structure with new concrete footings, natural stone foundation walls and reclaimed lumber, and added operable windows to increase ventilation. This made for a large family gathering room in the barn.
FROM THE CLIENT: "Thanks for sending the photographs. It is shocking what a difference there is between then and now. You should submit these to an Architectural makeover contest. The dark basement before we installed windows was downright scary. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of this project. Thank you for sharing with us your design skills, and expertise. Getting the entire project on paper and then sticking to the plans is just beyond our capabilities. We both really appreciate your willingness to allow the remodeling effort to evolve. Vision, enthusiasm and a "can do" attitude are the traits that you brought to the barn renovation are also the reason I will never undertake a building project without having you at the helm."
